Initial Session/Assessment:

The first meeting will be between me and an appropriate adult/s, without the child or adolescent present. The aim of this session is to gain an understanding of the child or adolescent's background and presenting issues.

In the case of an adolescent, a second session will take place with them on their own to hear first hand their experiences and to gain a direct understanding of their difficulties.

It is important that as part of this process, there is a sense that there is a good fit to work together as the therapeutic relationship is a vital part of our work together.

Both assessment sessions will be at a reduced cost of £60 each.
